About RVCodeFix

RVCodeFix is a free, independent reference for RV and camper appliance fault codes. When a fridge, furnace, water heater, air conditioner, leveling system or generator throws an error or blink code, the answer is usually scattered across forum threads, paywalled Q&A and dense PDF manuals. We pull the factual code → meaning mapping together into one clean, fast, mobile-friendly page per code — with ranked likely causes, safe checks you can do yourself, the reset procedure, and an honest “when to call a technician” line.

Independent & ad-light

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dometic, Norcold, Suburban, Atwood, Furrion, Lippert, Truma, Onan/Cummins or any other manufacturer. Brand and product names are used only to identify the equipment a code belongs to, and remain the property of their respective owners.

How the data is built

Every code is compiled from manufacturer service and owner documentation and other reputable sources, then written up in our own words — we never copy manual text. Each page lists its sources and a “last verified” date. Read more on our methodology page.

Coverage

We currently document 268 codes and are expanding brand by brand, starting with the appliances RV owners search for most. Spotted an error or a code we’re missing? Email info@rvcodefix.com.

Safety

RV appliances involve LP gas, 120 V AC and 12 V DC. Our guidance is informational only and cannot replace a qualified RV technician or your unit’s manual. If you smell gas, stop and ventilate first.
