Lippert RV leveling system fault codes
Automatic leveling systems display messages when they cannot complete a level, hit a stroke limit, lose communication, or sit on too steep a slope.
How to read the code
Read the exact message on the touchpad. Many conditions are operational (re-hitch, move to flatter ground) rather than hardware faults.
All documented codes
Bad Calibration warning
The controller's stored level-sensor calibration values are outside the acceptable range, … Comm Error warning
Communication between the touchpad and the control module has been lost. The touchpad cann… Excessive Slope warning
The RV is parked on ground that is too far out of level for the system to safely auto-leve… External Sensor Error warning
The controller lost a valid reading from the external (rear) level sensor, which sits a fe… Feature Disabled info
Shown during Hitch Recognition (unhitch) on fifth-wheel units when the front of the traile… Internal Sensor Error warning
The level sensor built into the leveling controller itself is reporting bad or out-of-rang… Jack Position Fault warning
An error at one specific jack on the Ground Control 3.0 electric system, identified by pos… Jack Time Out warning
A jack motor pulled an unexpectedly high current (a stall) or did not complete its move in… Low Voltage warning
Battery voltage dropped too low for safe operation. On the Level-Up system, auto-level mod… Out of Stroke warning
