What it means
AC output overload shutdown. The connected AC load exceeded the inverter's rated output (around 2100W on the 2000 model, around 3200W on the 3000 model), or there is an output short circuit. The unit shuts down and the status LED turns solid red.
Most likely causes
- Too many or too large AC appliances running at once most likely
- High surge load from a motor/compressor at startup common
- Short circuit in AC output wiring or a faulty appliance less common
Safe checks you can do yourself
- Reduce the AC load and turn off non-essential appliances
- Disconnect appliances with high startup surge (compressors, pumps) and try them one at a time
