Safe checks you can do yourself
- Count the flashing lights again before you start. One light flashing on its own is the fault-display reading for the refrigerator sensor; lights 1 and 2 flashing together is the service-manual reading for the refrigerator temp sensor in the wind channel. Both point at the same part, so either way the sensor circuit is the place to look.
- Pull the refrigerator fuse in the power center, then check the sensor plug at CN2 on the main circuit board — seat it firmly and look for green corrosion or spread pins.
- Follow the sensor lead into the wind channel assembly and check it is intact and not trapped by a shelf, liner or insulation.
- Note whether the freezer still gets cold. A working freezer with a warm fresh-food compartment fits this fault; nothing cold anywhere is a different problem.

The service section on pages 19-22 instead reads pairs: lights 1 and 2 for the refrigerator temp sensor in the wind channel, 2 and 3 for the defrost sensor, 3 and 4 for the freezer fan, and all lights for an under/over voltage event. Both readings are reproduced on this site because both are in the manufacturer's document; which one your panel follows appears to depend on the board and firmware revision. Count carefully how many lights are flashing before ordering a part — the pair readings come with concrete component checks, so they are the more useful place to start when two lights are flashing.
