Safe checks you can do yourself
- Measure at the terminal block on the fridge, and measure twice — once with the refrigerator off and once with it running. The service manual is explicit about this: checking under no load and under load rules out a false surface charge on the battery. It expects roughly 12.5 to 13.6 V at the top of the terminal block.
- Then measure at the bottom of the terminal block as well. The same voltage should appear there; if it does not, the fault is inside the block or its wiring rather than upstream.
- Check the fuse in the power center — it is labelled for the refrigerator and should be 15 A. The supply is specified as 10 AWG wire, so anything thinner or spliced is a candidate for the drop.
- If the battery has been recharged or replaced and reads above 11 V, wait five minutes before judging the result. Lippert documents that recovery delay explicitly; owners routinely condemn a working fridge inside those five minutes.
- Check both ends of the negative return too. In this unit the negative and the chassis ground are not tied together, so a poor dedicated negative will not be rescued by the chassis.

The service section on pages 19-22 instead reads pairs: lights 1 and 2 for the refrigerator temp sensor in the wind channel, 2 and 3 for the defrost sensor, 3 and 4 for the freezer fan, and all lights for an under/over voltage event. Both readings are reproduced on this site because both are in the manufacturer's document; which one your panel follows appears to depend on the board and firmware revision. Count carefully how many lights are flashing before ordering a part — the pair readings come with concrete component checks, so they are the more useful place to start when two lights are flashing.
